As a result of their continued growth, an award-winning, independent Building Services Design Consultancy with offices around the UK are looking for a Senior Building Physics Consultant to join their Oxford office. This individual will bring expertise in thermal modelling and environmental analysis and will be instrumental in driving forward their sustainability offering. They deliver a range of services including mechanical and electrical engineering, sustainability, building physics, and Passivhaus design across heritage, cultural, education, healthcare, residential, and commercial sectors.
As a Senior Building Physics Consultant, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality building performance analysis and guiding design teams towards low-energy, net zero, and climate-resilient outcomes. You will work closely with colleagues across offices, lead technical assessments, mentor junior engineers, and liaise with clients and architects to deliver solutions that balance energy efficiency, comfort, and sustainability. This is a client-facing role with scope for professional growth and a clear pathway to Principal Consultant.
