Job summary

Marsh in London is seeking a Broker Support professional to join our Aviation team. This hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly, supporting complex placement activity for reinsurers, brokers, and markets.

You will review renewals, manage contract drafting, and maintain placement files with strong attention to detail while building solid stakeholder relationships. A background in aviation reinsurance is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in Aviation reinsurance would be beneficial as well as a grounding in broker support.
• Experience working on reinsurance contract wordings.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize a varied workload effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistently accurate approach to work.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
• A solid understanding of placement documentation, renewals, and market processes.

Responsibilities

• Review client renewal information and identify key placement wording considerations. Manage the contract drafting process, including policy updates and production of final contract documentation.
• Track the progress of assigned accounts and maintain accurate placement status.
• Maintain core placement files, ensuring best-practice procedures and compliance requirements are fully evidenced.
• Respond to client requests for information, including reinsurer data, financial reports, and market or industry issues.
• Support onboarding activity for new clients and markets.
• Manage compliance requirements, including sanctions referrals, third parties, AML, and ABC processes.
• Build strong working relationships with the Service Team and develop a broad understanding of accounting, claims, and proportional treaty administration.
• Participate actively in team, client, and reinsurer meetings where required.

This opportunity sits within a specialist placement team focused on Aviation and Space, excess of loss, and proportional treaty portfolios, with broader exposure to all types of reinsurance contract wordings, including binders and consortiums.
