A local government authority in Slough is seeking an individual to manage a team of brokers, focusing on sourcing care and support for individuals with assessed needs. The role emphasizes leadership, expertise development, and implementing new brokerage systems. To line manage and supervise a team of brokers, leading on brokerage and placement activity in conjunction with Adult Social Care (ASC) Practitioners in the sourcing of care and support for those identified as having assessed needs. The role will develop a particular area of expertise, oversee systems, and be responsible for implementing any new brokerage arrangements, including eBrokerage and CareCubed. Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached.
