A leading business events company in Greater London is seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer to manage and deliver high-quality creative projects. You will collaborate with teams to maintain brand standards, oversee project timelines, and innovate design strategies. Role overview
We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, on-brand campaigns, digital products, and visual assets from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be a creative powerhouse with a knack for managing operations and maintaining the highest standards of visual excellence while helping their Art Director on projects across the LIONS Division, particularly Cannes Lions and WARC.
Key accountabilities
Project management and execution:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of creative projects, ensuring they meet our high visual standards and adhere to different brand guidelines.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets efficiently.
Provide direction to other junior members, guiding the conceptual thinking for projects.
Ensure a collaborative and productive work environment within the creative team.
Stakeholder communication:
Serve as a deputy to the Art Director, handling complex creative challenges and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
Work closely and collaboratively with stakeholders across the business. Take on feedback, know when to push back and always fly the flag for quality over quantity.
Regularly update Senior Leadership and the Art Director on project progress and any critical issues.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different departments and external partners.
Creative strategy and innovation:
Contribute to the development of creative strategies that align with product objectives and market trends.
Translate strategic thinking into beautiful, effective design
Reimagine existing and future brand guidelines for all landscapes.
Create new identities for future product ventures that stand out from the current suite whilst adhering to masterbrand guidelines.
Collaborate with the studio team to develop video content and provide art direction.
Art direction, quality control and brand consistency:
Uphold the highest standards of quality in all creative outputs and implement best practices throughout.
Ensure craft, consistency, and attention to detail across all touchpoints.
Ensure the quality and consistency of creative output, reviewing designs and materials.
Provide hands-on art direction, guiding designers and artists in the execution of visual elements.
Work in-house with other creatives i.e. copywriters to shape messaging that aids design, and video art direction with mood and storyboards.
Build presentations that take stakeholders on a journey – communicating your process, ideas and solutions.
Produce visuals for subscription-based products including platform assets, marketing, Festival assets and social media promotions.
Ensure the consistency and responsiveness of content shared across multiple platforms, i.e., social vs printing assets vs video.
Develop compelling design concepts that translate to both contemporary and cutting-edge digital executions, as well as compelling marketing materials – working closely with both internal and external partners to ensure that the final customer experience aligns with the brand’s broader visual concept and art direction.
Ensure all creative work is on-brand and resonates with the target audience.

Conceptual design thinking and a high level of consistency.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to navigate feedback.
Able to design across all stages of a project – from concept to completion, art direction to brand systems, across any touchpoint.
Fully understand the brand’s visual identity, ensure creativity and consistency across all channels, and support the team in delivering standout design.
A strong portfolio of high-impact, consumer-facing work that demonstrates great typographic, layout, hierarchy and technical skills across all things marketing – digital and print.
Experience in collaborating with Art Directors and the wider creative team in everyday tasks.
Experience in supporting Junior Designers with peer-to-peer feedback on BAU tasks.
Self-driven, proactive and keen to learn new skills.
Proficient working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Including – Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects. Knowledge of Figma would be a bonus.
Knowledge of motion graphic and video editing would be a strong plus.
Ability to positively interact with both creative and marketing teams.
A keen interest in current industry trends and techniques.
Excellent organisational skills required; must be able to handle multiple projects and produce a high volume of quality work within tight deadlines via cross- functional workflow streams and project management tools.
Self-motivated, a team player, comfortable with following directions and receiving feedback on their work as required.
At least 4 years of experience as a creative in the industry. Relevant experience working in a team- based environment is ideal.
