Job summary

Fletcher George Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper in Leatherhead, Surrey, offering hybrid and flexible working, private healthcare and on-site parking. You will manage a portfolio of SME clients, enhance their accounting processes and leverage cloud technology.

You will prepare management accounts, review bookkeeping and VAT, onboard clients to cloud systems and work closely with Audit and Outsourcing teams within a modern practice.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bookkeeper within a UK accountancy practice.
• Ability to prepare management accounts and review VAT returns.
• Proficient with cloud accounting systems, especially Xero and Dext.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts for SME clients.
• Review bookkeeping records and VAT returns.
• Onboard new clients to cloud accounting systems.
• Support clients in using Xero, Dext and related tech.
• Collaborate with Audit and Outsourcing teams.
