Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper in the property sector to manage day-to-day financial records for three trading entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.

You will oversee accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and provide insights to support decision-making across the group. Proficiency in accounting software and CIS invoices experience are pluses. Construction sector exposure is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the business.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes. Subcontractor Invoices (CIS)
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
• Potential to support the Management Accounts process.
• Finance Business Partnering
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to meet business goals.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
