A healthcare provider in Rotherham is seeking a Senior Booking Clerk to join their Nuclear Medicine team. This administrative position involves overseeing booking processes, managing patient data, and supporting the administrative team to ensure high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting and strong organisational skills. The role offers a salary range of £24,937 to £26,598 annually, pro rata.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Senior Booking Clerk to join our Nuclear Medicine/Doppler team at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust.
This key administrative role supports the delivery of a high-quality, patient-centred service within the Imaging Directorate.
Working closely with another Senior Booking Clerk, you will provide mutual support and resilience across both booking services to ensure the smooth and efficient coordination of patient appointments, clinics, and imaging sessions.
You will be responsible for supervising booking processes, maintaining accurate patient information, monitoring waiting lists with the support of our validation manager, and ensuring that all appointments are scheduled in line with Trust and national access targets. You will also provide day-to-day support and guidance to the wider administrative team.
You will have significant administrative experience within a healthcare or similar environment, ideally with knowledge of Nuclear Medicine booking systems. Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.You should be able to demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care through efficient service coordination.
