Job summary

Parker Jones Group Ltd in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to lead building management system projects from handover to commissioning.

You will coordinate engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, ensuring on-time delivery within budget while maintaining high technical standards. The role requires strong BMS knowledge, project delivery experience and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience managing BMS / Building Controls projects.
• Ability to understand control strategies and drawings.
• Strong communication skills with clients, engineers and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of procurement, commissioning, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage BMS projects from handover through commissioning and final completion.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
• Review project requirements, programmes, resources, and delivery strategies.
• Support design processes including control strategies and system graphics.
• Manage procurement of equipment/services and ensure compliance with specs.
• Oversee electrical installation activities and liaise with electrical teams.
• Deliver projects within budgets and timelines; manage valuations and variations.
• Produce RAMS, O&M manuals and technical records; maintain documentation.
• Attend client/coordination meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
• Support commissioning activities including testing and fault finding.
