• Advanced education and experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Designs, plans and executes biostatistical components of plans for R&D projects establishing safety, efficacy and marketability.
• Uses sound statistical methodology to conduct studies relating to the product life cycle.
• Prepares the statistical component of protocols meeting project objectives and health authority guidelines.
• Develops and applies statistical theories, methods and software.
• Summarizes and interprets data into tables and graphs for statistical inference and reports.
• Provides directions to clinicians/statistical programmers.
• Supports regulatory review and approval of experimental therapies.
• May partner in trial design and data collection, management and reporting.
