Job summary

Petroineos Trading Limited seeks a Senior Biofuels Operator in London to lead end-to-end biofuels and feedstock operations, including cargo movements, blending, and compliance. You will coordinate with terminals, laboratories and inspectors to ensure product quality and contractual adherence, while maintaining robust records in SAP and related systems.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, superb organisational skills and the ability to make commercial decisions under tight timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Significant biofuels/oil products operations experience.
• Experience managing cargo movements and blending.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Trade Execution – manage biofuel and feedstock operations from inception to completion.
• Product, Cargo and Marine Operations – coordinate movement, storage and delivery of HEFA-SPK, HVO, FAME and feedstocks; manage vessel operations.
• Blending and Technical Product Specifications – ensure product specs and blending requirements meet contractual standards.
• Blending Control and Reconciliation – monitor blending activities and ensure accurate records and audit trails.
• Sustainability and Regulatory Compliance – verify feedstock origin, sustainability data, PoS and compliance with regulations.
• Systems, Stock and Data Integrity – maintain records across SAP, Symphony, and inventory tools; reconcile contracts and stock positions.
• Financial Security and Credit Compliance – ensure prepayment and LC arrangements are in place and valid.
• Commercial and Financial Control – verify trade calculations and invoices to minimise leakage.
• Claims and Contractual Compliance – support operational claims; maintain documentation.
• Operational Risk Management – identify and resolve operational risks; liaise with stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management and Leadership – build relationships across Trading, Supply, Finance, Sustainability and terminals.
• Documentation and Continuous Improvement – maintain records; drive process improvements.
• Health, Safety and Operational Support – uphold HSE standards and provide coverage when needed.
