Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior BIM Technician in Southend-on-Sea to deliver 3D modelling and CAD work across projects within the Projects department.

The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit/Navisworks and Revizto, ability to map loop data, perform clash detection, and coordinate multi-disciplinary interfaces, all while aligning with ISO 19650 standards and producing detailed sections, schematics, and layout drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as BIM/CAD Technician, with 3D modelling and CAD proficiency.
• Experience with MEP trades in construction; ideally Tier 1 contractor level.
• Understanding of ISO 19650 standards.
• Ability to produce detailed sections, schematics and layout drawings.
• Experience with clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience with COBie / asset data integration for full O&M data.
• Ability to map loop circuit data within field devices.
• Scheduling and take-offs.
• Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revizto.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 3D modelling and CAD work for projects in the Projects department.
• Coordinate between services and perform clashes checks.
• Produce detailed sections, schematics and layouts for drawings.
• Assist with MEP coordination and data integration.
• Support ISO 19650 processes and BIM data management.

Senior BIM Technician

Permanent position based in Southend-on-Sea, for an experienced BIM/CAD Technician within our clients Projects department. The role will involve a combination of 3D modelling and CAD work, and candidates should be confident and proficient in both disciplines.

If you have proven experience working with MEP trades within the construction industry, ideally at Tier 1 contractor level, this could be a great opportunity for you!
