Job summary

Hoare Lea in Reading is seeking a Senior BIM Specialist to join our team. You will work hands-on with Revit and other BIM platforms to develop models, coordinate disciplines, and support project delivery from concept through tender.

You will mentor junior colleagues, contribute to BIM discussions, review execution plans, and help ensure information is accurate, coordinated and fit for purpose across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a BIM or digital design role within the building services or MEP sector.
• Ability to model and coordinate as part of daily work.
• Understanding of building services systems and their interaction with architectural and structural design.
• Experience identifying clashes and supporting coordination and issue resolution.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, standards and project information requirements.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage own workload and deadlines.
• Clear communication with engineers, consultants, clients and stakeholders.
• Interest in mentoring junior colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Undertake BIM modelling using Revit and related tools.
• Develop and update building services models per project requirements.
• Coordinate building services with architectural and structural disciplines.
• Review models and resolve coordination issues.
• Produce and review project deliverables to industry standards.
• Monitor model quality and information for accuracy and coordination.
• Prepare clash reports and coordination reviews.
• Attend BIM and design meetings; support external meetings with clients.
• Support development of junior team members through mentoring.
• Contribute to internal BIM training and process improvements.
