Mott MacDonald is seeking a BIM Coordinator for Building Services Engineering to lead BIM on projects as part of our multidisciplinary MEP team. The role is ideally based in one of our Buildings offices (London, Croydon, Bristol, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow or Belfast) but other locations and UK-wide collaboration are possible.

You will coordinate BIM for healthcare, infrastructure, data centres, and other sectors, ensuring BEP compliance, CDE usage, and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years BIM experience on multi-disciplinary building projects.
• Proficient in BIM standards and workflows (ISO 19650).
• Experience managing CDE, clash detection, and team coordination.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate BIM models across architecture, structural, MEP and other disciplines.
• Setup, review and maintain BIM models, including clash detection and issue resolution.
• Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and ensure standards are followed (BIM toolkit, ISO 19650).
• Develop BEP and information management resources for projects.
• Liaise with engineers, architects and consultants for seamless model integration.
• Manage model assurance checks and CDE setup/use.
• Support training on BIM processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare and oversee digital deliverables (models, drawings, COBie, IFC, asset data).
• Present coordination outcomes and reports to clients and project teams.
• Support Design Team Lead and BIM practitioners in the workstream.
