Job summary

Navantia UK is seeking an experienced Project & Bid Manager to lead the preparation, execution and winning of competitive bids for strategic UK defence and maritime contracts. You will balance bid strategy with rigorous project delivery, working across engineering, commercial, finance and operations to secure major opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience in project & programme management, bid management, or similar roles.
• Proven experience managing complex engineering bids or proposals in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end bid process from qualification through submission.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, commercial, finance, legal, operations).
• Plan, track and report bid milestones and delivery using established methodologies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and resources across Navantia UK opportunities.
• Identify risks and opportunities; implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure governance, security requirements and compliance throughout bids and projects.
