We are seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager with a strong background in the healthcare sector to lead and coordinate strategic bids for high-value contracts. You will play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities while leading a small, high-performing bid team. As a Senior Bid Manager at Nuffield Health you will:

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end bid process for complex healthcare tenders, ensuring high-quality and compliant submissions.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of bid professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Develop and implement bid strategies that align with business goals and NHS/public sector procurement frameworks.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, business development, and operational teams to develop compelling, winning propositions.
  • Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance standards are adhered to throughout the bid lifecycle.
  • Maintain a pipeline of bid activity and reporting for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of managing and winning bids within the healthcare sector (NHS or private healthcare preferred).
  • Experience in leading or managing a small bid team, with a collaborative and motivational leadership style.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare service delivery models and relevant procurement processes.
  • Exceptional written and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, persuasive content.
