Job summary

Mint Selection | B Corp is seeking a Senior Project Planner to support the delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across the UK. The role focuses on planning, monitoring, and optimizing project lifecycles from inception to completion to aid the energy transition.

The candidate should bring 10+ years of M&E planning experience, proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

10+ years of proven experience in project planning, specifically M&E projects.
Strong expertise in schedule coordination, cost forecasting and earned value management.
Solid understanding of SIMOPS, contractor schedule validation, and risk analysis.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 and PowerBI.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and monitor full project lifecycles, reporting progress to senior leadership and project managers.
Coordinate schedules, costs, and resource models, including developing 'what-if' scenarios to mitigate project risks.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align timelines and validate contractor schedules.
Analyse schedule and cost variances, ensure SIMOPS compliance, and recommend corrective actions to meet deadlines and budgets.
Support progress reporting, baseline schedule development, and risk management processes.
Contribute to lessons learned documentation and project closeout activities.
