Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Barnstaple is seeking a Senior Benign Urology Nurse Specialist with a minimum of 2 years’ urological experience to help redesign care pathways and strengthen nurse-led services, delivering patient-centred care closer to home.

You will work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team, run nurse-led clinics such as One Stop LUTS, TWOC, bladder treatments and intermittent self-catheterisation teaching, and participate in audits and service

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with NMC pin and at least 2 years’ urology experience.
• Experience delivering nurse-led clinics and patient education.
• Evidence of audit or service development involvement.
• Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist urology care from diagnosis through treatment and beyond.
• Run nurse-led clinics such as One Stop LUTS, TWOC, bladder treatments and catheterisation teaching.
• Participate in MDT meetings, arrange diagnostic tests and investigations.
• Contribute to audits and service development to improve patient care.
