Job summary

Ambition in London seeks a Senior Business Development Executive to provide maternity cover across its Institutions market. You will support BD activity across not-for-profit, schools, higher education and sovereign sectors, handling sector plans, pitches, campaigns, events and profile-raising initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong business development and marketing experience within professional services.
• Experience of pitches, campaigns, events and directory submissions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative and able to own projects from day one.
• Degree educated or equivalent experience; CIM desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support development and delivery of sector BD plans and budgets.
• Conduct market, competitor, client and prospect research and analysis.
• Lead and manage pitches, tenders and capability statements from research to submission and debrief.
• Manage directory and award submissions (Chambers and Legal 500).
• Plan and deliver in-person and virtual events, webinars and follow-up activity.
• Develop thought leadership and marketing campaigns with lawyers and comms.
• Identify cross-selling and profile-raising opportunities, including external speaking.
