Job summary

Gateley is seeking a talented solicitor with 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience to join its Banking & Finance team. The role covers a broad range of banking transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance and asset-based lending, across England & Wales.

You will join a national team with offices in Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester or Reading, and a hybrid working culture that supports both home and office-based work.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and negotiation skills.
• Drafting experience including facility, LMA and credit agreements.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Team-oriented with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of banking transactions including acquisition, real estate and asset-based lending.
• Work with a national Banking & Finance team across multiple offices.
• Develop business and support client relationships.
• Advise on complex banking matters and draft relevant agreements.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to professional development.
