A leading healthcare provider in Chichester is seeking a Senior Radiographer to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The role requires a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography and a postgraduate qualification. You will work with cutting-edge technology while ensuring compassionate patient care. Benefits include a pension scheme and discounted gym membership. Flexibility in hours is a key aspect of this position.
Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital is a 30‑bedded hospital within walking distance of the city centre with free onsite car parking. The hospital has two laminar‑flow operating theatres and two minor treatment rooms in the outpatient department. There is a small radiology department and CT/MRI services are provided in a mobile unit. Inpatient physiotherapy is provided within the hospital whilst our outpatients attend the fitness and wellbeing centre at Chichester Gate for their follow‑up physio and hydro‑therapy treatments. Our main speciality is orthopaedics, but we also care for patients needing treatment within the specialties of gynaecology, urology, general surgery, plastic surgery, ophthalmology and pain. We provide outpatient services for dermatology, cardiology, neurology and rheumatology.
As a Senior Radiographer at Nuffield Health Chichester Hospital you will bring a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally you will also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately. You will see each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy, deliver a high‑quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, work with leading practitioners and cutting‑edge practices, carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures, supervise and develop junior colleagues and ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion. You will enjoy a benefits package that includes holiday in line with the Working Time Directive, access to our pension scheme and discounted gym membership at £25.00 a month. Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
