Job summary

Ottolenghi is hiring a Bakery Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a busy production environment at our Holloway Road central unit. You will oversee baking, ensure recipes and production standards are followed, and coach junior bakers to maintain quality, taste and consistency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional baking experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and production processes.
• Experience supervising, training or mentoring other team members.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and health & safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production of the Packed Product section, ensuring on-time completion.
• Supervise preparation and baking of a range of bakery products; ensure recipes and standards are followed.
• Maintain high standards of quality, taste, texture and appearance across finished products.
• Carry out regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products.
• Lead, support and develop junior bakers and bakery team members.
• Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and maintain workflow during shifts.
• Support training on labelling, food standards and production procedures.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients are available when required.
• Support stock rotation and minimise waste and costs.
• Ensure bakery operations meet food safety and hygiene standards.
