Job summary

Capsa AI, an AI platform for private equity diligence, is hiring Staff / Senior Backend Engineers in London. You will own projects from conception to production, building the infrastructure and services that underpin our AI platform.

You will work in a hybrid setup with in-person presence 4 days a week, collaborating with a lean, ambitious team. The role requires 4+ years of software engineering experience and strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI, Postgres, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, and Redis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a software engineer in a startup or tech firm.
• Led end-to-end products or features from ideation to production and measured impact.
• Experience with Python, FastAPI, Postgres, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, Redis, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Improve agent capabilities by designing and implementing new features that give the agent investment expertise.
• Build scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and index large volumes of documents and financial data.
• Develop robust APIs and services to power Capsa's platform.
• Improve connectivity by integrating additional data sources into the agent loop for deeper analyses.
• Maintain high code quality and manage technical debt to preserve velocity.
