Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer for the CCOR Technology team in Glasgow. You will design and deliver modern backend services and APIs supporting Compliance and Operational Risk, partnering with product and engineering to deliver scalable solutions from concept to production.

You will help define service architecture, elevate engineering standards, and foster innovation and collaboration. Expect to drive technical decisions and adopt AI-assisted engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on backend development with Java/Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing microservices and service contracts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, and secure development practices.
• Knowledge of relational/noSQL data stores and production readiness.
• Ability to work in Agile, DevOps driven teams.

• Lead backend delivery across the full software development lifecycle.
