AND Digital Limited in Leeds is hiring a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and optimise cloud solutions for client projects. You will own Azure environments, IaC with Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, focusing on security, performance and cost efficiency.

You will lead technical work, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Stay ahead of new technologies to drive value for clients in a fast‑moving delivery culture.

What you’ll bring to the table:

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be a specialist in your team, building scalable cloud solutions to solve a variety of problems. To do this, you will need to be able to:

• Have solid experience of managing and deploying production services in Azure covering all aspects of service delivery such as architecture design, infrastructure provisioning (IaC), CI/CD pipeline automation, high availability, monitoring, security, and cost optimization.
• Build and maintain an IaC codebase using tools such as Terraform, Powershell and Azure Devops. You will understand Cloud & DevOps best practices and standards, and embed these into client projects.
• Be comfortable discussing the business/commercial benefits of Cloud whilst being equally comfortable deep diving into Cloud or on-premise platform configurations where required.
• Demonstrable knowledge of AI models and agent implementation using Microsoft Foundry
• Be just as comfortable troubleshooting across brownfield platform and application domains, as when designing greenfield cloud platforms.
• Have an ability to horizon scan and evaluate new technology options and vendor products and understand how these can be used to solve our clients problems.
• Sharing your skills and experience by being an advocate for mentoring and upskilling of client and other ANDi’s as part of day-to-day activities
• Have experience in leading technical teams
• Show previous experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role
• Have led or worked in a Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery environment.

Specific Key Experience Required
Solid understanding and experience of:

• On-premises legacy systems to be integrated with, e.g., Active Directory, DNS, Certificate Management, SQL Server, Windows Server
• Networking in Azure (Azure Firewall, ExpressRoute, DNS Zones, VNet planning, routing and peering)
• Public networking including public DNS and working with public Certificate Authorities.
• On-premise networking including routing and firewalls
• Azure Front Door and API Management including VNet Integration
• Azure App Services and Function Apps including VNet Integration
• Maximising security of services exposed publicly (Web Application Firewalls etc) and implementing monitoring and alerting
• Deployment and ongoing management of Azure resources using Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines
• Working with application developers and third parties collaboratively to develop ideas, test with PoCs, assist with troubleshooting
