Job summary

Lorien is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to support the productionisation of a critical Azure‑hosted application within a secure, regulated environment. This hands‑on role focuses on Azure App Services, API Management, security, automation, and DevOps best practices.

You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and robust monitoring using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Qualifications

Hands-on Azure DevOps engineering experience in enterprise environments.
Strong experience configuring and optimizing API Management integration with Azure App Services.
Proficient in CI/CD design, IaC with Terraform, and Azure security controls.

Responsibilities

Configure and optimise Azure API Management integration with Azure App Services.
Implement API routing, policies, authentication, certificates, and networking configurations.
Review and improve Azure App Service configuration for scalability and reliability.
Implement secure authentication and authorisation using Entra ID, Managed Identities, and RBAC.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications and infrastructure.
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Implement monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Configure secrets management and access controls.
Establish release, rollback, and deployment validation processes.
Produce technical documentation and runbooks.
Collaborate with Architecture, Security, Engineering, and Governance teams.
Active SC Clearance.
Strong hands-on Azure engineering in enterprise environments.
Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities, and Azure RBAC.
CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.
Terraform for IaC.
Azure networking, DNS, certificates, and service connectivity.
Application security and monitoring.
