Description

Responsibilities

• Design and configure infrastructure and services on Azure cloud.
• Design, optimise and document the operational aspects of the cloud platform.
• Design, develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Administer and maintain AKS cluster.
• Have a good understanding of Azure networking layer (VPNs, subnets, security groups, peerings, private DNS zones, private endpoints, routing tables, etc).
• Ensure security, backup and redundancy for applications and data on the Azure cloud follow best practices.
• Configure and manage Azure DB services such as Azure Database for PostgreSQL / MySQL and SQL Server.
• Manage Azure storage accounts and file shares.
• Configure and maintain application gateways and load balancers.

Required Skills

• A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience on Azure cloud; 5 years experience on cloud platforms; and 8-10 years of total experience in IT.
• Good experience with Linux systems.
• Experience with building and maintaining build/deploy automation pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• At least 2 years experience configuring and administering AKS clusters.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Cloud certification in Azure is desired but not mandatory.
