Qualifications

• Advanced Power BI expertise: datasets, DAX, modelling, governance.
• Expert-level Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Strong experience in Azure Synapse with SQL pools.
• Deep proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.
• Track record of delivering Azure-based data engineering solutions.
• Mentoring or technical leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimisation of ADF ETL pipelines.
• Develop scalable Synapse Analytics data models.
• Own and enhance Power BI datasets and reporting standards.
• Shape cloud architecture across Azure Data Lake.
• Implement robust data quality and monitoring frameworks.
• Mentor junior data engineers and support engineering standards.
