Consortia in London is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to own AWS networking, drive automation and shape a cloud-centric, high‑availability environment. This hands‑on role focuses on Terraform‑driven infrastructure, security, and reliability across hybrid on‑prem and cloud networks.

You will design and implement VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs and Route 53, mentor engineers, set standards, and collaborate with DevOps, platform and security teams to raise the bar for operational

Qualificações

• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code with reusable modules and state management
• Experience designing and managing AWS networking: VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, Route 53
• Strong networking fundamentals: routing, switching, BGP, TCP/IP, secure connectivity
• Design highly available, resilient infrastructure with failover and DR
• Knowledge of network security: segmentation and least-privilege access
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version-controlled infrastructure changes
• Experience supporting hybrid connectivity between cloud and on‑premises
• Experience with DevOps/platform/SRE collaboration in large environments
• Experience in financial services, trading or other business-critical settings

Responsabilidades

• Lead design and evolution of AWS networking with a focus on automation and reliability
• Develop and maintain network infrastructure using Terraform modules
• Design AWS networking solutions: VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, Route 53
• Collaborate with DevOps, platform and cybersecurity teams across hybrid environments
• Set technical standards, influence architecture and mentor engineers
• Improve monitoring, observability and reduce operational risk across networks
