Slalom is seeking a Senior Consultant AWS Data & AI Engineer to design and deliver high-value data platforms on AWS. You will work with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data-driven solutions, and you will mentor junior colleagues across projects.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in AWS data engineering and delivering data platforms.
Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and transformation.
Experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration patterns.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and implement scalable data engineering solutions on AWS.
Develop and optimize data architectures using AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR).
Ensure security, performance, cost optimization, and operational excellence.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into implementations.
Mentor teammates and contribute to building technical capability.
