Job summary

CBSbutler Holdings Limited trading as CBSbutler is seeking a Senior Cloud / Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable AWS solutions for the Public Sector. The role is remote for 12 months and pays £600-£720 per day inside IR35.

You will design and govern AWS architectures, drive cloud migration, implement IaC, and ensure security, compliance and cost optimisation, while mentoring teams and engaging stakeholders including senior sponsors.

Qualifications

• Experience designing AWS architectures for secure, scalable cloud environments.
• Proven cloud security, governance and modernisation experience.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid SC and NPPV3 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern AWS cloud architectures.
• Lead technical teams and provide architectural assurance.
• Drive cloud migration, modernisation and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation or CDK).
• Ensure security, compliance and adherence to AWS best practices.
