Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an Experienced Part 21 Electrical / Avionics Engineer for a 12-month contracting role based in Frimley, UK. You will support certification of large aircraft modifications and oversee EWIS and system documentation.

Role involves leading design activities, coordinating across time zones, and attending critical customer meetings to represent the client during embodiment phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Avionics or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
• Experience in EASA Part 21J design organisation is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulatory and airworthiness requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate design activities to ensure compliance with requirements for electrical/avionic systems in large aircraft modifications.
• Support certification activities and on-wing test witnessing as part of modification projects.
• Prepare and check certification documents, load analyses, test plans and EWIS documentation.
• Act as the client’s representative in meetings (ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI) and provide on-site support during embodiment.
