Live Wire Productions, Banbury, is seeking a Senior AV Technician to own the planning, preparation, delivery and continual improvement of AV systems across Formula 1 and diverse live projects. Working across all 24 Formula 1 races, our projects range from team hospitality suites, paddock environments, garages and factory installations through to live race commentary systems, driver appearances, broadcast support and VIP experiences. We collaborate closely with leading manufacturers and technology partners to integrate cutting-edge solutions into every project we deliver.
Beyond Formula 1, Live Wire provides technical production, equipment and specialist personnel to a wide range of live events including festivals, concerts, conferences, theatre and corporate productions. Our clients include some of the UK’s most respected venues, including the Southbank Centre, Barbican and Sadler’s Wells.
This role is suited to an established AV professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent client-facing skills and experience leading crews on high-profile events. As a Senior AV Technician, you will take ownership of the planning, preparation, delivery and continual improvement of AV systems across a variety of projects, with a particular focus on Formula 1.
You will be responsible for leading event builds, mentoring junior technicians, maintaining exceptional technical standards and ensuring our clients receive a seamless experience both on-site and throughout the project lifecycle.
Success in this role requires a proactive attitude, exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.
