Job summary

Red Sky Personnel Ltd on behalf of a leading global AV integration company is seeking a Senior AV Commissioner to join the team in Egham, with travel across the South East and into London. You will lead on-site commissioning of complex AV projects and mentor commissioning engineers to deliver high-quality handover to clients.

Qualifications

• Extensive AV commissioning experience including system design, configuration and testing.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Proven stakeholder management with clients, consultants and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site commissioning activities to meet technical standards and timelines.
• Supervise and develop commissioning engineers on site.
• Coordinate with Commissioning Managers and project teams to plan activities.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and resolve issues, escalating when needed.
• Review AV designs and schematics, flag potential challenges and propose solutions.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers to meet specifications.
• Oversee testing, documentation and project handover to closeouts teams.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal processes.
• Assess performance of internal and external teams to ensure delivery quality.
• Collaborate with pre-sales and service teams for smooth handovers to support.
• Contribute to commissioning documentation and delivery processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and client experience.
• Support continuous professional development within the commissioning team.
