Qualifications

PhD or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
Typically 5+ years of hands-on experience running automated in vitro functional and phenotypic screens in pharma/biotech.
Experience designing and adapting automation platforms for assays, including protocol development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Translate validated assays into automation-ready protocols for end-to-end platforms.
Design, adapt, and validate automated workflows for cell-based screening.
Troubleshoot and optimize workflows with automation engineers to maximize screening performance.
Execute automated medium-throughput screening campaigns with high data quality.
Analyze assay performance and screening data to drive improvements in workflows.
Contribute to new automation technologies and digital tools to enhance capabilities.
