Senior Authorised Person (SAP) - South East
We're on the lookout for a highly skilled and motivated High Voltage Senior Authorised Persons (SAP) to join one of our industry leading clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver high-voltage projects across the UK, from CDM construction and infrastructure upgrades to asset maintenance and commissioning.
- Champion safety and quality, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest technical and compliance standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute HV switching operations, applying safe systems of work up to 33kV (and potentially 132kV).
- Mentor and guide site teams, Engineers, and SAPs — promoting best practice and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Perform electrical testing, fault finding, and diagnostic assessments, delivering efficient and reliable solutions on‑site.
- Undertake mechanical modifications and repairs, ensuring operational performance and reliability of HV equipment.
- Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and network operators to deliver successful project outcomes on time and within budget.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability in project delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Proven knowledge of HV networks, switching activities, and safe systems of work.
- SAP authorisations up to 33kV / 132kV (live).
- Solid background in HV electrical testing, commissioning, installation, and maintenance.Experience working with DNOs, iDNOs, or ICPs is highly advantageous.
- Strong leadership qualities with the confidence to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills.
- A proactive and safety‑first approach with a passion for delivering technical excellence.

Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 + Overtime, Car Allowance, Pension
