Job summary

A prominent staffing agency is seeking a Senior Auditor to support the internal audit team in delivering the Internal Audit Plan. This role requires a qualified professional with over 3 years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the public sector, and analytical skills for effective data analysis. The candidate will play a key role in improving the Council's internal control and governance processes while being present in the office twice a week.

Qualifications

• Part or fully qualified accounting professional.
• More than 3 years of internal auditing experience.
• Experience with public sector audits is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the internal audit team by delivering the Internal Audit Plan.
• Assist in providing assurance on internal control and risk management.
• Plan and prepare audit assignments and draft terms of reference.
