Job summary

AJ Chambers is seeking an ambitious Audit Senior to join our Weybridge-based team. You will manage audit assignments from planning through to completion, build strong client relationships and help develop junior staff.

The role offers exposure to a varied SME and larger client portfolio, with opportunities to progress technically and commercially within a growing practice in Surrey. Applicants should be ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist/part-qualified.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification or finalist/part-qualified.
• Experience in UK accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and auditing standards.
• Confident working directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Prepare statutory accounts and supporting schedules.
• Review the work of junior team members and provide guidance.
• Liaise directly with clients and build strong working relationships.
• Identify and communicate audit issues to Managers and Partners.
• Assist with accounts, tax and other general practice work where required.
• Take increasing responsibility for your own portfolio of clients.
