Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking an audiology post holder to undertake a wide range of investigations on adults, children and babies and to plan and deliver complex audiological and rehabilitative treatments. The role includes hearing aid fitting and verification, direct access paediatric assessment where appropriate, ear examinations, and the completion of outcome measures.

The post holder will contribute to day-to-day departmental management.

Responsibilities

• Hearing aid fitting and verification for digital hearing aids; perform real ear measurements for school-age children with accuracy and dexterity
• Direct access paediatric assessment where medical involvement is not required
• Perform ear examinations
• Complete outcome measures and quality of life questionnaires
• Contribute to day-to-day departmental management
• Undertake other duties to support efficient running of the Audiology Department
