Job summary

Norfolk And Norwich University Hospitals Nhs Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Audiologist to join a large, specialist Audiology service. The post offers involvement in adult and paediatric assessment and rehabilitation, including Play Audiometry and Visual Reinforcement Audiometry, with opportunities to lead and train junior staff.

Qualifications

• BSc Audiology or equivalent qualifications.
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.
• Registered with AHCS or HCPC.
• Significant experience as a Band 5 in Audiology is required.
• Excellent communication and patient handling skills.
• Demonstrates understanding and commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous practice within adult rehabilitation clinics.
• Assessment of hearing loss in complex populations.
• Fitting of hearing aids in complex populations.
• Paediatric hearing assessment including Play Audiometry and Visual Reinforcement Audiometry.
• Autonomous practice within Paediatric hearing aid fitting and review clinics (>4 years old).
• Support training and provide clinical oversight to junior staff.
