Zusammenfassung

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Audiologist to join our busy Audiology service based mainly at Bedford Hospital, with support across Luton & Dunstable. The role focuses on senior-level diagnostic audiology and adult hearing rehabilitation, including paediatric and ENT clinic support.

You will lead on assessments, hearing aid pathways, and training of Audiology students, delivering high-quality patient care in line with our values and ongoing professional

Qualifikationen

Qualified Audiologist with relevant degree and registration.
Evidence of specialist training and AR module.
Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise trainees.

Aufgaben

Provide Audiology cover for ENT clinics, assessing paediatric and adult patients.
Explain results to patients and families with clear communication.
Deliver diagnostic audiology services and interpret test procedures.
Arrange hearing aids for ENT patients, including counselling and data entry.
Participate in adult hearing aid and aural rehabilitation services.
Manage patient pathways under indirect supervision.
Conduct comprehensive history taking and tailored assessments.
