Overview

Dudley School Attendance & Education Support Service: “Ensuring all children in Dudley have access to outstanding education”. We are seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate Senior School Attendance & Education Support Officer. We are looking for a professional who has a history of working in the field of improving school attendance and is also aware of the various enforcement measures available to the local authority. You must have experience of undertaking casework and working with professionals from a range of services. Experience of preparing court files and taking legal action on behalf of the authority in matters relating to absence from education and experience or knowledge of managing people.

As a Senior School Attendance & Education Support Officer within the School Attendance & Education Support Service you can expect to contribute to improving attendance and supporting families, schools and young people as part of the service’s ongoing work to develop new and innovative ways of bringing about effective change.
