Job Opportunity

RBC are seeking a Senior Associate/VP, European Hedge Fund Credit Sales. This role will see the marketing of high beta products to UK accounts.

RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.

What will you do?
  • Market high beta products (HY., Loans, IG) to your defined account base with an annually agreed production target
  • Actively expand and enhance both existing clients and new relationships within the Spread product space
  • Identify key target accounts and focus on a co-ordinated coverage of these clients, ensuring that we are cross selling the entire FICC platform
  • Aim to be top tier counterparty with our target accounts Ensure that there is a proactive relationship with trading, strategy and origination; this includes ongoing feedback on client activity and thoughts
  • Work closely with the relationship management teams to coordinate coverage of accounts
  • Understand regulatory implications for clients and action with the appropriate team
What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Educated to degree level or relevant experience
  • Certified Person
  • High level of experience with client needs and objectives in order to provide innovative and effective solutions
  • Extensive Leveraged Finance/Hedge Fund Credit Sales experience covering high beta products
  • Have very strong derivative knowledge and a strong understanding of options pricing.
  • Strong Hedge fund connectivity and meaningful client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, innovative and adaptable
  • Team player and ability to work with and coordinate many people
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of financial products
