Job summary

M&G is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Property Fund Finance team in London. You will oversee financial control, investor reporting, and regulatory submissions for UKSIF, SPIF/SLIF and other real estate funds, ensuring timely, high-quality outputs.

The role requires professional accounting qualifications and experience in fund reporting within real estate or asset management. You will work with external admins, auditors and tax advisers, contributing to audits and governance.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in fund reporting and accounting, ideally in real estate, asset management or private markets.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, statutory accounts and audit processes.
• Knowledge of fund structures and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial, regulatory and investor reporting, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality delivery.
• Review fund performance, NAV dashboards, cashflow forecasts, and provide insight to support decision-making.
• Manage relationships with external administrators, auditors, tax advisers, and other service providers, ensuring delivery against standards and timelines.
• Support board governance, including financial oversight papers and meeting materials.
• Assist in annual reports and financial statements reviews, coordinating audits and resolving queries.
• Oversee regulatory reporting and tax compliance requirements.
• Support financial oversight for acquisitions, disposals and financing activities, including memos and funding diagrams.
• Maintain a robust control environment through procedures and process improvement.
