Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (flexible and part-time options available)
Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role

A respected and growing law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (Property Litigation) with 5+ years PQE to join its team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to take on an autonomous caseload while supervising junior team members, working closely with other Senior and Principal Associates to deliver the highest standards of client service.

You’ll be part of a friendly and hard‑working group of around 60 lawyers within the Complex Litigation unit, benefiting from a steady supply of high‑quality cases and a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities
  • Running an autonomous caseload of property litigation matters
  • Supervising and supporting junior fee earners
  • Handling disputes including nuisance, trespass, boundary issues, easements, and rights of way
  • Managing cases from inception through ADR or trial
  • Ensuring compliance with professional standards and the SRA Code of Conduct
  • Contributing to team performance through effective use of Management Information
Candidate Requirements
  • 5+ years PQE in property litigation
  • Qualification and authorisation to conduct litigation (essential)
  • Expertise in nuisance, trespass, boundary disputes, easements, and rights of way
  • Experience of supervising junior lawyers (desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to high professional standards
