The Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Restructuring & Insolvency Solicitor to join our market-leading team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality advice across the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious insolvency and restructuring mandates, often with a multi-jurisdictional element.

You will work closely with partners and clients on complex instructions involving fraud, asset recovery, cross-border disputes and corporate restructuring, including both contentious and non-contentious insolvency processes. This role offers significant client contact, as well as the opportunity to develop team building and supervisory skills.

The Team

Our Insolvency & Restructuring practice has a strong reputation for acting on some of the most challenging and high-profile matters in the sector. We advise a broad range of stakeholders including:

  • Insolvency practitioners
  • Private equity houses
  • Banks
  • Corporates and directors

We are recognised for our ability to deliver commercially focused, pragmatic solutions in time-critical and high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters, often with cross-border dimensions.
  • Acting in relation to fraud claims, asset recovery and complex disputes arising in the insolvency context.
  • Working on and managing a diverse caseload, balancing technical excellence with commercial pragmatism.
  • Leading on client relationships, building networks, and developing new opportunities.
  • Supporting partners with business development initiatives, thought leadership and profile-raising activities.
Experience and Skills Required
  • Ideally experience across both contentious and non-contentious insolvency related matters.
  • A demonstrable ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
  • Excellent technical knowledge combined with a commercial and solutions-focused approach.
  • A collaborative and resilient team player, with the drive to develop your practice further within a growing team
