Senior Associate - Energy and Sustainability

Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate to join our UK team to focus on the developments in the energy market.

The Role

• Advising developers, landlords and operators on the procurement, negotiation and management of heat networks (including concessions, supply agreements, outsourced services and ongoing regulatory compliance)
• Advising on energy projects, including solar, wind and battery storage
• Advising on large scale retrofit programmes (including grant funded, 'Energy as a Service' and subscription models)
• Support on regulatory issues relating to electricity (generation, distribution and supply) and heat networks
• Advising on utility connections including ICP and IDNO arrangements
• Advising on Power Purchase Agreements and Heat Supply Agreements etc
• Advising on EV Chargepoints and related infrastructure
• Active participation in marketing initiatives aimed at the energy sector
• Building and maintaining effective client relationships

The Candidate

• Candidates with 4 years' relevant post‑qualification experience gained from a reputable firm or in‑house
• Experience on regulatory issues relating to utilities and energy projects, including heat networks
• Excellent technical skills
