• Experience engaging with clients and providing strategic advice on complex cable projects.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
• Familiarity with National Grid Transmission Procedures and other international standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex cable system projects.
• Develop and review HV cable designs and provide technical governance.
• Contribute to business development through proposal writing and client presentations.

Skills

Extensive experience delivering HV/EHV cable system projects in onshore environments

Strong knowledge of cable system design, installation, and commissioning

Proficient in ampacity, short‑circuit, electromagnetic, and thermal analysis

Clear understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards

Education

Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartership

National Grid CDAE or equivalent cable system certification
