A leading Building Surveying consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join their Oxford office. This pivotal role involves leading high-value projects, supporting junior team members, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Surveying, chartered status or be working towards it, and possess significant experience in delivering complex projects. This role offers a competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 along with numerous benefits in a supportive environment.
A client of mine, a leading Building Surveying consultancy recognised for their technical depth and progressive approach across the industry, is keen to speak with an experienced Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join their Oxford office. This is a pivotal role offering the successful Building Surveyor the chance to lead high-value commissions, shape the strategic direction of the team, and play a key part in the continued growth of a thriving multidisciplinary environment.
With a long-standing presence in the UK property and construction sector, my client is known for delivering professional excellence across a broad range of private and commercial projects. Their reputation has been built on high technical standards, collaborative working, and an unwavering commitment to developing their people. You will be joining a supportive, ambitious team that offers genuine progression opportunities and the autonomy to make a meaningful impact.
Working as a trusted consultant, you will lead and deliver a variety of professional and project-based Building Surveying services across the private and commercial sectors. The work will primarily be Building Surveying-led, though you will have the chance to deliver wider technical commissions over time.
You will act as Lead Consultant on complex projects, prepare technical specifications, oversee tender processes, and liaise closely with planning and building control authorities. You will manage project programmes, ensure technical documentation is of the highest standard, and control budgets to achieve on-time, on-cost delivery.
Alongside project delivery, you will support junior colleagues, manage team resources, contribute to departmental strategy, and play an active role in business development. You will also collaborate with in-house colleagues across other disciplines to ensure seamless project outcomes.
