Job summary

PIMCO is seeking a Senior Associate, Alternative Operations, to support the Special Situations Group and Insurance‑Linked Strategies. The role centers on private credit operations, loan-based financings, and bespoke structures, working with portfolio managers and external service providers to ensure accurate settlement and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of five years of relevant operational experience across private/direct originated debt and/or equity.
• Strong knowledge of loan-based products, including term loans and revolvers.
• Hands-on exposure reviewing credit agreements and loan mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Support settlement oversight and lifecycle management for private and originated loans.
• Provide day-to-day operational coverage for loan trades and funding coordination.
• Oversee external vendors performing back-office functions and ensure accuracy of cash and position reconciliation.
• Review and interpret credit agreements to operationalize key terms and maturities.
• Assist with complex loan amendments, restructurings, and non-standard lifecycle events.
• Engage with Account Managers and internal teams to support reporting needs.
