Senior Associate

Our client are looking to recruit a Senior Associate on a full time, permanent contract basis. This role will be based working from home, however will require travel to their various offices. The role will typically involve supporting our NHS and non-NHS clients, Education and Custodial clients (and others) throughout the life of both their privately financed and traditional estates Assets. The role will include (but not be limited to) engineering assets/systems management and compliance auditing, technical commissioning and decommissioning advice, mechanical building services technical advice, maintenance and CAFM reviews, facilities management and asset management advice, risk management advice.

Senior Associate Responsibilities
  • Undertake work to generate appropriate fees associated with their consultancy aims and targets.
  • Develop consultancy services as an exemplar engineering/technical compliance advisor.
  • Support them to develop the client portfolio and increase their client base in designated areas, ensuring key clients receive a first-class service at all times.
  • Develop junior staff to ensure career progression and succession planning is fully implemented across our resource base as he/she progresses in their own development.
  • Follow a structured Personal Development Plan of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and provide technical training to other members of the team and the wider Group.
  • Work with their senior team to deliver projects and commissions but also to act as lead consultant on a range of commissions.

Senior Associate Requirements
  • Educated to at least degree level
  • Mechanical Engineering Qualification
  • Experience in healthcare building services engineering (and or engineering consultancy)
  • Experience in working in Hard FM compliance mechanical building services and ventilation
  • Operational experience ideally including healthcare and PFI
  • Design / building services technical background
  • Operational compliance experience
  • Successful DBS check of relevant level
